Led the design and creation of zones for Wildstar partnering with the Content Design department to ensure all worlds meet design goals. Seeking after extensive cross-team integration and collaboration at all phases of the development process.

 

  • Establish aesthetic look and feel of worlds by interpretation of concept into final product. 

  • Ensure quality and style is carried through for the design and production of all open worlds and interior staging.

  • Inspire and motivate nine artists in layout, sculpting, painting, set design and propping.

  • Guide and direct team members through review, paintovers, critiques, documentation and reference.

  • Lead level design of open worlds along with layout of playspaces through collaboration with content design teams.

  • Keep teams on schedule through daily resource and task management.

  • Actively collaborate with engineering to innovate and improve world building tools.

  • Create various art assets such as terrain tiles and lighting/skybox.

  • Led and taught weekly company “virtual plein air” painting group.
